Zusammenfassung

nVent is hiring a Production Supervisor to ensure uninterrupted production flow in assigned processes. You will provide coaching to employees, run equipment when needed, and collaborate with support resources to meet department goals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of production experience. Proficiency with Windows/Microsoft Office and MACPAC is expected as part of daily duties.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years production work experience preferred.
• Computer experience with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet (MACPAC).

Aufgaben

• Provide backup to the Production Supervisor for all assigned areas.
• Support the production process by running or setting up equipment as needed.
• Lead Lean activities (MDI, 5S, Kaizen) to reduce waste and improve processes.
• Coordinate timely movement of material and information within the work area.
• Train and coach employees on standard work and safety procedures.
• Ensure startup/shutdown and break times are followed and paperwork completed.
