Job summary

nVent, an international leader in electrical solutions, seeks a Production Senior Supervisor for its on-site operations in the United States. The role leads production staff, ensures safety and quality, and drives improvements to meet schedules and capacity targets.

The person will manage staffing, payroll, and support new process implementations. Candidates should have 3+ years in manufacturing with 2+ years in leadership, be proficient with ERP systems and MS Office, and demonstrate strong

Qualifications

3+ years manufacturing experience with 2+ years leadership.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing reporting tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Direct production employees, including training, directing, conducting performance evaluations, educating, and mentoring on performance.
Oversee day-to-day production activities to meet commitments while improvements are made.
Utilize process center boards to track daily performance.
Drive improvements in capacity, throughput, and overall operational performance.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and support safety programs.
Manage staffing levels and labor allocation to meet schedules.
Review and submit payroll hours weekly and handle exception hours.
Support new process and product development and implementation.
