Job summary

BW Papersystems in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, quality, and cost reductions through lean methods and capital projects.

You will work closely with Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain, mentoring teams and applying tools like 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and VSM.

A BS in engineering with 3–5 years experience and Lean/Six Sigma certification are preferred; overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve assembly methods.
• Lead lean manufacturing improvements and value stream mapping.
• Collaborate between Design Engineering and Operations.
• Estimate production times and costs for CapEx decisions.
