Job summary

BW Papersystems, based in Phillips, Wisconsin, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive efficiency, quality, and cost improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, and capital projects. The role partners with Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to implement durable process improvements.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, lean certification, and strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities. Occasional overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred with 3–5 years related experience.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certified.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve assembly and manufacturing methods.
• Lead Lean initiatives (5S, SMED, VSM, standard work).
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Operations across functions.
• Mentor team members in lean manufacturing and quality systems.
