Job summary

Riverstone Logistics in Orlando, FL, is seeking an Operations Manager to support the General Manager by supervising a client-based operation and maximizing labor efficiency. The role focuses on maintaining core metrics, improving processes, and coordinating with warehouse and office teams to deliver seamless service.

You will lead a team of Extra Milers, ensure Lean warehouse principles are applied, and act as the primary contact for clients when the GM is unavailable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in warehouse/distribution/supply chain operations; at least 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Exposure to Lean principles, systems, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in meeting and exceeding client service goals.
• Oversee operations and ensure objectives are met; act as Location’s point of contact in GM’s absence.
• Plan and schedule third-party transportation; manage dispatching and routing.
• Lead and develop Extra Milers; enforce safety and company policies.
• Communicate goals, provide progress updates, and motivate staff to achieve targets.
• Represent the company to maintain client relationships and ensure contractual compliance.
