Job summary

Riverstone Logistics in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the General Manager by supervising a client-based operation, maximizing labor efficiency and minimizing overhead. The role emphasizes strengthening client relationships and coordinating daily warehouse and transportation activities.

You will lead a team, enforce Lean principles, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3-5 years of warehouse, distribution, and/or supply chain operations with at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
Must have reliable transportation to commute to workplace and attend client meetings; travel within region may be required.

Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in meeting and exceeding client service goals.
Drive and evangelize company culture, onboarding, and selection of Extra Milers.
Oversee operations and ensure objectives are met; act as Location’s point of contact in GM absence.
Ensure Lean warehouse principles are implemented and maintained where applicable.
Enforce company compliance standards across the location and maintain professional image.
Plan and schedule third-party transportation; manage dispatching, routing, and tracking.
Lead and coach direct reports; promote safety and fair practices.
