Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Cresco, IA is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead continuous improvement across manufacturing and office functions. You will identify bottlenecks, optimize product flow, and develop capacity models to support lean transformation.

You will direct operators and technicians, mentor leaders, and collaborate with site leadership to deliver savings, 5S, standard work, and time standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles and CI methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide lean activities (5S, standard work, visual management, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 8D) to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
• Foster the professional development of facility leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Lead standardization and optimization of processes, sequences, layouts, and product flow.
• Lead and track CI activities across manufacturing and office operations.
• Develop detailed project plans and drive performance to achieve savings goals.
• Develop and design equipment layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization.
• Own equipment capital expenditures, including design, vendor selection, procurement, and implementation.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Site Leadership to create a CI roadmap for best-in-class performance.
• Lead capacity modeling, production planning tools, and time standards development.
• Provide direction to operators and technicians while supporting their development.
• Perform IE data collection, root cause analysis, and problem-solving to address issues.
