Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead continuous improvement across a Cresco, IA manufacturing site. You will identify bottlenecks, drive 5S and lean initiatives, and elevate product flow and productivity while developing the capabilities of operators and supervisors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Industrial Engineering with at least 3 years in management, strong Lean expertise, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience applying LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead projects and drive initiatives to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate with operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide lean activities (5S, standard work, visual management, value stream mapping, Kaizen, 8D) to eliminate waste and boost productivity.
• Develop and mentor facility leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Standardize and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, and product flow.
• Drive continuous improvement projects across manufacturing and office functions.
• Develop project plans, track performance, and ensure on-time savings achievement.
• Design equipment layouts, workflows, and safety measures to maximize utilization.
• Oversee capital expenditures: design, vendor selection, procurement, and implementation.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to create a continuous improvement roadmap.
• Create capacity models, production planning tools, and time standards.
• Provide direction to operators and technicians and support their development.
• Perform data collection and root-cause analysis to address operational issues.
