ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Mason City, IA is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive lean initiatives and optimize production. You will partner with shop floor, quality, and engineering to develop practical improvements that boost safety, quality, and throughput.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, and standard office software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong communication across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to achieve safe work environments and high-quality, efficient production.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process refinements.
• Participate in lean events and Kaizen initiatives to improve methods and efficiency.
• Develop standard work, work instructions, and documentation for projects.
• Support ISO14001 compliance and safety/environmental regulations.
