Qualifications

• University degree with 5+ years manufacturing/electrical troubleshooting.
• Advanced degree with 3+ years experience; without degree, 9 years relevant experience.
• LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with equipment and factory layouts.

Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing process improvements across assembly steps.
• Perform time studies to maintain standard timings.
• Identify opportunities to remove waste and reduce standard times.
• Support Production Build Operators with tooling and processes to meet production schedule.
• Utilize drafting/modeling software to design and implement new fixtures for process improvement.
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs.
• Analyze and understand factory needs and requirements.
• Conduct Process Flow and line balancing analyses and drive improvements.
• Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates.
• Implement procedures and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity concerns.
• Identify safety concerns and improve production facilities and equipment layouts.
• Provide status updates to management on equipment, manpower, space, and other elements affecting manufacturing.
• Identify needs for capital expenses and provide cost/benefit analysis and business justification.
