Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Controls Process Development & Documentation Engineer - System Architect to capture and formalize the engineering execution processes used by the HDNU Controls System Architect teams. The role partners with GEV Architects, Alliance Architects, and the CTH to publish standardized job aids and guides that drive FPY, reduce customer escapes, and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controls or systems engineering in the power generation industry.
• Strong technical writing with ability to create structured documentation, job aids, checklists, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Validate process documentation accuracy with engineers and leadership.
• Coordinate governance and documentation integrity for Confluence and CLM.
• Present process improvement plans, documentation status, and Lean outcomes to teams and leaders.
• Support onboarding of new engineers by ensuring documented job aids and checklists are effective training tools.
