Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a System Architect to oversee Plant Controls development across Steam Turbine, BOP, and HRSG for both simple and combined cycle power plants. The role involves guiding software teams, defining interfaces, and ensuring quality through design reviews and FAT/SAT readiness.

You will coordinate with engineering leads to deliver control solutions, improve productivity, and maintain documentation while supporting commissioning activities from project ITO through OTR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or related).
• Minimum 8 years of experience with controls development in the Mark VIe platform.
• Demonstrated experience with Plant Controls across at least two subsystems: Steam Turbine, BOP, or HRSG.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams in design, development, execution, and validation of Plant Controls software across Steam Turbine, BOP, and HRSG.
• Develop and maintain documentation for Plant Controls software requisition processes.
• Conduct milestone design reviews to ensure controls features meet acceptance criteria and cross-system integration points.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Plant Controls software engineers.
• Support commissioning issues and field resolutions related to plant-wide controls.
