Job summary

GE Vernova in Schenectady, NY seeks a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer (Controls & DCS) to capture, formalize, and continuously improve engineering execution processes. You will apply Lean methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, publish standardized guides, and drive FPY and cycle-time reduction.

You will partner with HDNU ITR Solutioning leader, Controls Leaders, Alliance teams, architects, and CLM/Confluence owners to ensure accurate documentation, train engineers, and lead Lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related)
• 5+ years in controls or systems engineering or related field
• Hybrid work format (2 days on, 3 days off) in Schenectady, NY (U.S. GEV Hub)

Responsibilities

• Validate process documentation for accuracy and applicability with leaders and architects
• Coordinate with CLM admins and Confluence page owners for governance.
• Present progress and Lean outcomes to teams and leaders.
• Support onboarding of new engineers with documented job aids and checklists.
• Lead Agile planning and daily management in project execution.
