Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a System Architect to provide technical oversight for Plant Controls development across Steam Turbine, BOP, and HRSG within combined and simple cycle power plants in the United States.

The role guides software work processes, conducts design reviews, mentors engineers, and ensures alignment with customer requirements and quality standards. The architect will oversee execution from ITO through OTR and commissioning, applying lean principles to improve productivity,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or related field.
• Experience with Plant Controls across multiple subsystems (ST, BOP, HRSG) preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities for multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide design, development, execution, and validation of Plant Controls software to meet requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation and work instructions for Plant Controls processes.
• Lead milestone design reviews focusing on cross-system integration and interface logic.
• Provide technical guidance to Plant Controls engineers across domains and support commissioning.
• Collaborate with project management to manage scope, schedule, and quality of deliverables.
