Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Controls Process Development & Documentation Engineer – System Architect to capture, formalize, and improve engineering execution processes for the HDNU Controls System Architect teams. Lead documentation of current-state processes, publish job aids, and apply Lean methods to reduce cycle time and defects.

The role partners with GEV Architects, Alliance Architects, and leadership, focusing on governance, standardization, and training tools across GT software milestones

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controls engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical execution role within the power generation industry.
• Strong technical writing skills with demonstrated ability to author clear, structured process documentation, job aids, checklists, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Validate process documentation for accuracy and applicability with global teams.
• Maintain governance and documentation integrity for Confluence pages and CLM integration.
• Present improvement plans and status updates to team and business leaders.
• Onboard new engineers by ensuring documented job aids and checklists are effective training tools.
