Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a System Architect to provide technical oversight of Steam Turbine Controls development for customer projects in the United States. This role spans development and process improvement, mentors teams, leads design reviews, and ensures requirements and quality standards are met from ITO through commissioning.

You will work with Mechanical, Thermal, Gas Turbine and BOP teams to deliver integrated solutions, lead architecture decisions, and drive productivity using lean

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of controls development on the Mark VIe platform.
• Experience with Steam Turbine Controls, startup/shutdown sequencing, speed/load control, and turbine protection.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams in design, development, execution, and validation of Steam Turbine Controls software.
• Develop and maintain documentation for Steam Turbine Controls software requisition processes.
• Conduct milestone design reviews to ensure controls features and quality meet criteria.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Steam Turbine Controls software engineers.
• Lead control system architecture definition for steam turbine applications.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Thermal, Gas Turbine and Balance of Plant teams for integrated solutions.
• Support field personnel with commissioning issues.
