Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Controls Process Development & Documentation Engineer – System Architect to capture, formalize, and improve engineering execution processes across GT milestones and software flavors. You will publish standardized job aids, checklists, and guides to drive FPY, reduce customer escapes, and improve on-time delivery.

You will partner with architects and leaders to validate documentation, organize Confluence/CLM governance, and support onboarding with effective training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related).
• Minimum 5 years in controls or systems engineering within power generation.
• Strong technical writing and ability to author clear process docs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Validate and document current-state processes with engineering leaders.
• Publish job aids, checklists, and process guides; link in Confluence and CLM.
• Lead Lean projects to reduce waste and improve cycle time and FPY.
• Onboard and train new engineers with well-documented materials.
• Maintain documentation architecture and update milestone checklists and tools.
