Job summary

gategroup is seeking a Lean/OPEX professional to analyze material and information flows, guide unit management in productivity and quality improvements, and drive Lean initiatives across the operations unit in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes cost reduction, safety, and efficiency improvements.

The position requires strong analytical and leadership abilities, experience in manufacturing settings, and the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Science, Industrial Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in Lean Manufacturing or related experience as an Industrial Engineer.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques including Just in Time, 5S, value stream mapping, Kanban.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and guides Unit management in productivity, material, waste, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Drives continuous process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Rolls out gateOPEX standardization program.
  • Communicates with unit management on changes and implementation.
  • Maintains Production System road maps and blue prints; analyzes major cost drivers like material, labor, and OOC.
  • Conducts change management and supports performance management across the unit.
