Job summary

gategroup is seeking a motivated Lean Manufacturing professional to lead improvement initiatives across our operations in the New York region. The role focuses on analyzing material and information flows, identifying cost drivers, and driving productivity, safety and quality gains.

You will partner with unit management and leadership, build capability at all levels, and guide change management while maintaining strong governance of Lean roadmaps and best practices across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum four years in Lean Manufacturing or related Industrial Engineering.
• Experience leading projects and people across functions.
• Experience analyzing operations cost drivers and value streams.
• Lean Manufacturing techniques; 6-Sigma/Lean preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze material and information flows to identify productivity improvements.
• Plan and guide unit management in productivity, waste, safety, and quality initiatives.
• Synthesize opportunities in productivity, material consumption, and space utilization.
• Communicate with unit management and leadership on changes.
• Drive change management and performance management within the unit.
• Provide Lean training and build capability at all levels.
