ABB Installation Products Inc. is seeking a Field Emission Survey Technician to collect data on natural gas emissions and perform on-foot inspections across designated areas.

The role requires driving a company vehicle, operating leak-detection equipment, and using specialized software to analyze data and produce detailed reports. The position is hybrid with work based in Missouri and Alabama, with travel to various regions and 80% driving surveys.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; previous leak survey or natural gas industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds; must be able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
• Candidates must have a valid US driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Must pass an evaluation to become Operator Qualified; training provided.
• Permanent work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsabilités

• Collect data on potential emissions from natural gas utility facilities and conduct field investigations to determine if further follow-up is needed.
• Operate from a company vehicle to survey map areas daily; work outdoors in all weather; use specialized equipment and software to analyze data and generate reports.
