You will work from a company vehicle, primarily in Alabama and Missouri, with 80% travel for surveys and 20% for follow-up tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds; outdoors in all weather.
Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
Candidates must have a valid US driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Must pass an evaluation to become Operator Qualified and trained to achieve it.
Permanent work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

Collect data on potential emissions from natural gas facilities and conduct field investigations.
Operate from a company vehicle to survey map areas and perform on-foot inspections.
Drive and operate advanced mobile leak detection equipment and use software to analyze data and generate reports.
Conduct surveys and inspections to detect, grade, and log emissions.
Record findings and create detailed reports.
