Job summary

Surview Field Services is hiring an Entry Level Leak Survey Technician to perform gas leak detection and field inspections using GIS tools. Training will be provided, and a company vehicle is included for fieldwork.

No prior natural gas experience required; favorable for candidates from construction, HVAC, or field locating with a driver’s license. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn GIS tools and data visualization.
• Practical skills and interest in field operations welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Detect gas leaks and report findings to support community safety.
• Utilize GIS tools to visualize data and create simple maps.
• Support clients with FlowGIS and Esri software as needed.
• Compile daily progress into clear written reports.
• Travel to various US locations with a company vehicle.
• Collaborate with team and work independently as required.
