ABB Inc. is seeking a Field Survey Technician to collect data on natural gas emissions and conduct field investigations.

The role involves driving a company vehicle to survey areas and performing on-foot inspections in all weather conditions, using specialized equipment to identify leaks and document findings. The position requires a valid US driver’s license, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and proficiency with relevant software.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; leak survey or natural gas industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds; outdoors in all weather.
• Proficiency with computers and relevant software essential.
• Valid US driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must pass evaluation to become Operator Qualified and be trained accordingly.
• Permanent US work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsabilidades

• Collect data on potential emissions from natural gas facilities and conduct field investigations.
• Operate company vehicle to survey map areas daily; perform on-foot inspections as needed.
• Drive and operate mobile leak detection equipment to identify emissions.
• Survey indicated areas to detect, grade, and log emissions.
• Record findings and generate detailed reports.
