Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Field Service professional to operate specialized equipment and perform field surveys for emissions detection.

You will work across multiple service regions and collaborate with gas utility customers to ensure timely, high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma/GED, 1+ year in a customer-facing technical role, and be willing to travel up to 75% with a valid passport and driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of field experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and possess/maintain passport and driver's license.
• Experience in natural gas utility industry is desirable.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and sensors to identify emissions across survey areas.
• Conduct on-foot surveys, log results with precision, and grade findings.
• Provide coverage across service regions (Kansas City MO, St. Louis MO, Birmingham AL, Gulf Coast AL).
• Work with gas utility customers to identify issues and communicate timelines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot ABB equipment and analyze data for trends.
