Job summary

Surview is seeking a Leak Survey Technician to locate, assess, and report gas leaks in natural gas pipelines. You will use GIS and field mapping to transform data into actionable insights that support safe communities and reliable energy delivery.

You'll apply your construction experience, work with FlowGIS and Esri software, and communicate findings clearly to clients. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel across the United States are required, and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Geography, Geospatial Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Prior leak surveys, construction or client-reporting experience helps.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across the United States.
• Experience with GIS and Esri software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Detect, assess, and report gas leaks in natural gas pipelines.
• Create GIS visualizations from raw data for actionable insights.
• Provide technical support to clients using FlowGIS and Esri software.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate findings clearly.
