Job summary

Northwest Administrators, Inc. seeks a Manager of Training and Development to lead the organization's learning strategy, designing blended programs and overseeing LMS operations at our Seattle office.

You will partner with leaders to create development paths from onboarding to leadership, delivering practical, results-oriented training and building a network of expert facilitators. This role demands 7+ years in adult learning and strong LMS mastery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, organizational development, or a related field required.
• 7+ years in adult learning and development, including design and facilitation of leadership and soft-skills programs.
• Experience with SaaS LMS products; including configuration and administration basics, learning path design, reporting, and governance to support instructor-led and self-paced learning.
• Ability to turn policies and leadership standards into clear, teachable behaviors and tools.
• Strong presentation and facilitation presence with credibility in front of first-time leaders and experienced managers.
• Proven experience building onboarding programs and blended learning paths that improve ramp time, consistency, and manager readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate leadership training programs for new and experienced leaders, focused on communication, coaching, accountability, and change management.
• Deliver engaging instructor-led workshops, cohorts, and development programs that promote practical skill application.
• Build and support a network of facilitators and subject matter experts to ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive learning roadmap, including onboarding, leadership development, and professional growth programs.
• Develop job aids, standard work, reference materials, and knowledge resources that support employee performance and learning.
• Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), including learning paths, content management, reporting, and engagement.
• Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to create role-based development plans aligned with competencies and performance expectations.
• Measure training effectiveness using participation, feedback, performance, and business outcomes; continuously improve programs and learning strategies.
