Job summary

The City of Bellevue seeks a Learning and Development Training Specialist to administer training, development, performance management, and tuition reimbursement programs. You will manage LMS and Performance Management configurations, ensure compliance, and support citywide orientation and trainings.

The role requires independent judgment, strong collaboration with HR and cross-functional teams, and the ability to handle multiple recurring deadlines while maintaining data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, communications, psychology, or a related field.
• Three or more years of experience in human resources, system administration, contract administration, learning and development, or related program work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administration of LMS, Performance Management System, and Tuition Reimbursement Program.
• Maintain system configuration, permissions, records, content, data, and recurring updates; troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate vendor contracts, invoices, payments, service requirements, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop and deliver citywide orientation, trainings, job aids, and program communications.
• Facilitate year-round performance management processes, back-end system setup and training.
• Manage training assignments for compliance.
• Process and review program applications, enrollments, reimbursements, etc., for compliance.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, materials, reports, audits, and committee activities.
• Research issues, recommend operational improvements, participate in cross-functional projects.
