Job summary

JB Hunt is seeking a Training Design Specialist in the Human Resources department in Lowell, AR. You will design and develop talent development programs for managers and advanced technical staff, collaborating with HR and business stakeholders to craft relevant curricula and content.

The role focuses on classroom and online learning formats, with emphasis on leadership skills, content alignment, and learning evaluation to improve outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, Instructional Design, or related field with 4 years of related experience; or 8 years combined education/experience.
• Master's degree with 3–5 years of training-focused experience preferred.
• Experience creating online learning content and curricula in a business setting.
• Ability to develop and apply emotional intelligence to understand and respond to others.

Responsibilities

• Interface with functional groups to design and implement classroom and technology-based training programs.
• Direct analysis and implementation of learning plans for leader-level skills and content alignment.
• Monitor and evaluate talent development offerings to meet learners' needs and course objectives.
• Identify opportunities to leverage the right technologies to meet goals.
• Develop checklists and maintain records for accurate course versioning.
• Analyze, prioritize, and organize activities to achieve learning initiative goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
