Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to develop leadership skills and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. The role supports location performance, CRM-driven sales, and fleet management in a fast-paced, non-airport setting.

The starting wage is $33,280 per year or $16.00 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities across operations, finance, and people leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: Support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: Assist with cleaning, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: Learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting and metrics.
• Leadership Development: Shadow management, develop team leadership and scheduling skills; prepare for future leadership roles.
