Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is seeking a Leader in Training to support the dispensary leadership team by supervising daily operations, communicating priorities to staff, and optimizing the customer journey. You will rotate through critical dispensary functions to gain subject matter expertise, advancing on a fast track toward an Assistant General Manager role.

You’ll participate in on-duty shifts, drive team performance, monitor inventory accuracy, and uphold security and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• At least three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Cannabis experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience preferred.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs.
• Must have reliable, responsible and dependable attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass any and all required background checks.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb
• Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations, and a passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
• Prior cannabis experience not required

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate inventory actions with management.
• Oversee the intake and verification of deliveries, transfers, and inventory management, ensuring vault accuracy.
• Lead team to execute programs and regionalized in-store promotions.
• Demonstrate proper cash handling, including processing payments, discount application, and cash maintenance.
