Job summary

JSMM INC in Highland Park, IL, is seeking a seasoned restoration project leader to own estimation and execution from initial inspection to final handover, collaborating directly with insurance carriers.

You will prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with adjusters, carriers, subcontractors, and clients, and supervise field crews to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Xactimate.
• Leadership experience in construction management/restoration.
• Experience in insurance restoration and complex projects.
• Knowledge of residential/commercial codes and materials.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reconstruction estimates using Xactimate.
• Manage restoration projects from site inspection to completion.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters, carriers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Document damages to verify scopes of work.
• Schedule materials, field crews, and subcontractors.
• Monitor budgets, change orders, and profitability.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure quality.
