Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Workday Engineer to advance HR technology. You will engineer resilient Workday solutions, automate processes, and partner with HR and product teams to drive scalable, reliable outcomes.

Qualifications include 4+ years in Workday platform engineering, 2+ years in integrations, and API exposure (REST/SOAP). Prior cloud and Agile experience are valued in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

4+ years of Workday platform engineering experience.
2+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions.
2+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP.
Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Talent and Performance Management is a plus.
2+ years of Agile practices.

Responsibilities

Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
Translate business priorities to HR value proposition and strategies.
Deliver Workday solutions across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits.
Communicate effectively with team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements with HR partners.
Stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities.
Build and maintain documentation for system implementation.
Serve as primary contact for business and technical questions.
