Job summary

Ridge Equipment Co is seeking an experienced Wireless In-Building Technician II to lead on-site deployments, directing Tech I staff and coordinating with project managers to sustain high technical standards. The role centers on hands-on RF work while progressing toward leadership without leaving technical duties.

The Tech II will travel regularly across the DC, MD, and Northern Virginia footprint, installing, testing, and optimizing DAS, small cells, and public safety radio systems while

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in wireless telecommunications or related field.
• Strong knowledge of DAS, small cells, and public safety radio systems.
• Ability to read RF design drawings and system documentation.
• Proficient with RF test equipment and network basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site, directing Tech I personnel and subcontractors.
• Install, configure, and commission DAS, small cells, and public safety radios.
• Perform advanced RF testing and system optimization.
• Conduct site surveys and develop installation plans.
• Manage cable terminations and testing to spec.
• Be primary on-site contact for PMs and customers.
• Document installations, tests, and punch lists accurately.
• Ensure safety compliance and OSHA standards.
• Mentor Tech I team members.
