This role leads technical development and implementation of rotor or tower sub-systems, providing technical guidance and coordinating cross-functional teams from concept through operation. Responsibilities include defining architecture, managing interfaces, and driving design validation, lifecycle support, and continuous improvement in line with GE Wind practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of systems engineering experience on wind projects; wind turbine experience preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide system expertise through all phases of product development, from requirements through design and support.
• Lead subsystem design studies and trade-offs for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Define subsystem architecture and manage interfaces.
• Approve system level requirements and ensure flow to components.
• Communicate analyses and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
• Lead subsystem problem solving, verification, validation, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate cross-functional and global teams to align subsystem development and BOM release.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization across product structure and processes.
