Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Subsystem Integration Engineer – Machine Head to lead the technical development and integration of Wind Turbine Machine Head subsystems. You will guide requirements, design integrity, validation, and subsystem quality from concept to operation.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive design strategies and process improvements, and lead problem solving and risk mitigation to ensure on-time BOM releases and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with wind turbine engineering projects, issues and/or technologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide system expertise through all phases of product development, from requirements through design and life-cycle support.
• Lead subsystem conceptual design studies and trade-offs addressing cost, performance, reliability, and operability.
• Define subsystem architecture and manage interfaces.
• Author and approve requirements and ensure flow to components.
• Contribute to customer-facing technical documents.
• Communicate results through analysis and presentations.
• Lead subsystem validation, verification and risk mitigation activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to keep development and BOM on schedule.
