Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a Lead Instructor to provide teaching and administrative leadership across the program, ensuring curriculum, outcomes and continuous improvement, with reporting to the Director of Education.

The role includes coordinating faculty, advising students, developing schedules, and collaborating with Admissions and Career Services to support student success and externship opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years industry experience within the last 10 years.
• 2 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
• 2 years of industry experience in the field of instruction.
• Experience in a management or supervisory role.
• Ability to qualify as an instructor.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace applications and database programs (CampusVue preferred).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation standards in education.
• Master’s Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop faculty performance and program oversight.
• Recruit, interview and hire faculty for the program.
• Ensure instructors adhere to administrative and classroom duties.
• Maintain faculty files and ongoing professional development.
• Lead curriculum development and budget planning for the program.
• Support student advising and progression during advisement periods.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Career Services to support student outcomes.
