Job summary

Qualifications

• Active certification or licensure required where applicable.
• At least 5 years of industry experience within the last 10 years.
• Three or more years of practical instructional work for non-degree/occupational courses.
• Master's degree with content expertise for online faculty.
• Exceptional cases allow up to eight years of experience substitution.
• States may require 18 semester hours at master's level in subject area.
• Prior teaching experience or completion of instructor training is required.
• Ability to meet accreditation standards for qualification as instructor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and lab instruction with assessment to ensure engagement.
• Ensure students receive material to meet learning objectives.
• Prepare instructional materials and ensure equipment is ready and functional.
• Participate in ongoing faculty assessment and professional development.
• Attend meetings, analyze assessment data, and meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
