Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of welding engineering experience in manufacturing.
- AWS-CWI or higher certification.
- Proficient in welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SMAW).
- Experience with NDT methods and interpreting results.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy related to welding.
Responsibilities
- Develop, qualify, and implement welding procedures (WPS) per codes and specs.
- Provide technical welding support to production, quality, and maintenance.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for welding defects.
- Evaluate welding equipment, consumables, and automation to optimize processes.
- Conduct welder qualification and certification testing per standards.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure weldability of new products.
- Maintain welding quality control plans and inspection criteria.
