Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld pieces using spot, electric, or gas welding equipment.
• Read and follow blueprints, layout and work orders.
• Set up and adjust equipment for proper heat and welding size.
• Preheat work pieces for welding and shaping as needed.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure specs are met.
• Coordinate with crane operator for lifting heavy parts.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work area.
