Qualifications

• 3–5 years Journeyman level welding experience.
• DL (driver's license) required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Uses spot welding gun or hand, electric, or gas welding equipment to weld or tack weld pieces.
• Unites pipes from torch to tanks of oxygen and fuel gas and turns valves to release mixture.
• Reaches the required temperature, size, and color of flame by burning torch and adjusting flow of gas and air.
• Preheats work pieces for welding preparation using torch.
• Joins pieces together and adds metal to develop parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
