Leigh & Co. Events, a fast-growing wedding planning company, is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator in Louisville, Kentucky. This contract position allows for a flexible schedule and requires managing all aspects of wedding execution onsite. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and be detail-oriented. Offering $300 per project for a total of 10-12 hours, this role provides an exciting opportunity for the 2026 wedding season and beyond. Training is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day prior to the wedding.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design.
• Manage full wedding day execution from vendor arrival to final breakdown.
