Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead design and regulatory-compliant plans, manage junior staff, and coordinate with clients. You will oversee budgets, mentor teams, and drive business development while upholding Trinity’s standards.

Responsibilities include supervising design reviews, maintaining schedules, and delivering high-quality reports. A PE license in AZ is required, with 5+ years in water/wastewater engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Registered Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) in Arizona.
• 5+ years water/wastewater engineering experience.
• 2+ years as a project manager in engineering.
• Experience in proposal development and client communications preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Advanced technical knowledge in water and wastewater systems design.
• Proficiency with MS Office; modeling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and design water and wastewater improvement plans, master plans, and technical reports meeting engineering and regulatory standards.
• Oversee and review designs and reports by junior engineers, EITs, and CAD staff for accuracy and constructability.
• Manage project tasks, sub-consultants, and schedules with client and leadership communication.
• Track budgets, generate billing, ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead and mentor junior staff with technical guidance and professional development.
• Identify training needs and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
• Support business development via client engagement and proposals; participate in industry events.
• Demonstrate self-management and promote Trinity's mission and values.
