Job summary

WestLand Engineering and Environmental Services, a Trinity Consultants team, is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Water/Wastewater Engineering) in Tucson to lead design, coordination, and client relations for water and wastewater projects.

You will supervise junior engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and contribute to business development while mentoring staff and upholding technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Arizona Professional Engineer license (P.E.) is required.
• Minimum of five years water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Minimum of two years as a project manager in engineering.
• Experience in proposal development and client communications preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; modeling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and design water and wastewater improvement plans, master plans, and technical reports meeting standards.
• Oversee and review designs and reports by junior engineers, EITs, and CAD staff for accuracy.
• Manage project tasks, sub-consultants, and schedules with client and leadership communication.
• Track project budgets, billing, and ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and professional development.
• Identify training needs and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
• Support business development through client engagement, proposals, and industry events.
• Demonstrate professionalism with timely communication and alignment to company values.
