Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Tucson is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to design and support water infrastructure projects and land development efforts. The role includes project production, client coordination, and marketing activities, working with project managers and leaders to deliver quality engineering solutions.

You will mentor junior staff, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain technical competency through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required.
• Arizona Professional Engineer license required or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of four years of engineering experience.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
• Experience with engineering reports and land development plans.
• Familiarity with water/wastewater systems and municipal standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Modeling software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop water/wastewater improvement plans and master plans under project lead.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering design plans.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design and draft plans; review with drafters.
• Assist project managers with client coordination and business development.
• Respond to RFPs and participate in marketing within water/wastewater.
• Represent Trinity at industry events and conferences as needed.
• Oversee junior EITs and drafters for task execution.
• Maintain budgets and schedules; coordinate with subconsultants.
• Mentor junior staff and support their technical development.
• Pursue technical training to maintain competency.
