American States Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a construction supervisor to oversee water and wastewater projects at military installations nationwide. You will plan, direct, and review field operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor progress, manage materials, and perform quality testing while maintaining daily reports and safety meetings with the team. Strong leadership and technical skills are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of prior water and wastewater system construction experience preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience on construction projects preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License issued by the state where employed.
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must take and pass Federal OSHA and/or State mandated safety training; company provides training.

Responsabilidades

• Under close supervision, performs activities related to all phases of water and wastewater system utility construction.
• Prepare work plans, schedule, direct and supervise work crews and subcontractors to assure maximum efficiency.
• Assess look-ahead schedules and identify needs, material management, deficiencies and potential conflicts.
• Collect field data and maintain daily and weekly construction progress, inspection, and erosion control reports electronically.
• Observes and complies with all safety rules, reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Perform physical construction including trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, compaction to grade.
• Responsible for overseeing water and wastewater line testing including chlorination and pressure testing.
• Focus on quality and quality management; conduct weekly safety meetings with crew.
• Loads/unloads materials; signals operators to coordinate movement of machinery.
• May operate heavy machinery such as dump trucks, backhoes, and right-of-way clearing equipment.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with ASUS and Installation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
