American States Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a construction supervisor to support water and wastewater projects on military installations. You will supervise crews, manage materials, and ensure safety and compliance with federal, state, and ASUS standards.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. The role requires working on-site with physical duties and equipment operation as needed.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years supervisory experience on construction projects preferred.
• Valid driver's license and US citizenship required.
• Heavy equipment operation and instruction preferred.
• Knowledge of utility plans and specifications.

Mansioni

• Oversee all phases of water/wastewater system construction under supervision.
• Prepare work plans, schedules, direct crews and subcontractors for efficiency.
• Monitor look-ahead schedules, materials, and conflicts; maintain progress reports.
• Ensure safety rules compliance; report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Inspect work to meet ASUS and installation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings; manage erosion and traffic control devices.
• Coordinate loads/unloads of materials; direct equipment operators.
• May operate heavy machinery as needed; perform pre-shift inspections.
