Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be a key contributor as we expand our Water Resources practice in California. This role requires experience beyond mid-level in design, project planning, project engineering, management, client relations and business development.

Ideal candidates will manage large design/construction projects, lead within the Water Resources sector, and mentor engineers while developing proposals and budgets for major efforts. CA PE licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 14+ years of relevant experience.
• PE licensure in CA.
• Experience leading project teams and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a project manager on larger design and construction projects.
• Lead as technical/management leader within the Water Resources sector.
• Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and calculations for water distribution systems.
• Develop proposals and budgets for larger engineering efforts.
• Maintain and grow client relationships before, during, and after projects.
• Mentor and train Senior Project Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Project Managers.
