BKF Engineers in California is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Water Resources practice. The role emphasizes pump station design, project leadership, and client engagement across a growing portfolio in water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

Ideal candidates bring extensive design and project management experience, CA PE licensure, and strong communication skills to mentor engineers and coordinate multi-office teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 14+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
• 4+ years of project and staff management.
• Experience with CAD and GIS.
• PE licensure in CA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a project manager on larger design and construction projects.
• Serve as a technical leader or management leader within the Water Resources sector.
• Perform and oversee complex engineering tasks including engineering designs, reports, drawings, and calculations for water distribution systems focusing on pump stations, tanks, and transmission mains.
• Develop proposals and budgets for larger engineering efforts.
• Meet with clients to determine project scope, staffing, and fee estimates.
