Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Water Damage Specialist Advanced to lead drying and repair projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. You will direct multiple crews, manage humidity plans, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role includes documenting progress, calculating moisture loads, planning power needs, and coordinating with management. Travel and after-hours work may be required to meet deadlines in demanding situations.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard
• Carry current IICRC ASD designation
• Must demonstrate mastery of BELFOR Water Damage Book
• Use of meters and IR camera with understanding of materials affected
• Data recording with HydroSensor and related tools

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photographs, charts and sketches for projects.
• Develop humidity content records and determine drying objectives.
• Calculate humidity load and cubic meters of affected areas; request additional support as needed.
• Determine electrical consumption of drying equipment and temporary power needs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep equipment in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with BELFOR standards and safeguard property.
• Maintain strong customer service and professionalism.
• Occasionally travel and work nights/weekends to meet deadlines.
