Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Water Damage Specialist Level 4 to oversee drying and repair operations across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. You will lead teams, review project requirements, document progress, and ensure safety and quality in field operations.

Responsibilities include creating moisture maps, reading plans, calculating humidity loads, and determining drying objectives, while coordinating electrical and power needs.

Qualifications

• IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard knowledge
• IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard knowledge
• Current IICRC ASD designation
• Mastery of BELFOR Water Damage Book
• Proficiency with meters and IR camera; understanding affected vs unaffected materials
• Knowledge of air mover calculations and LGR dehumidification charts; electrical power specs

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job
• Review daily project requirements and document progress
• Provide field documentation, photographs, and sketches for TPA projects
• Draw sketches, read plans, develop humidity content records, and determine drying objectives
• Calculate humidity load and cubic meters affected; request support for large losses
• Determine electrical consumption and temporary power requirements
• Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment
• Travel and work at night and on weekends as needed
